Ok so It has started.  I’m fresh out of my first coaching session with Alex Jeffreys and I have to say wow!  Alex is just so different, in the way he really gets you personally involved and accountable - I can see there will be no slacking off with this guy.  But Alex is so personable, so friendly, so genuine and so real. 

Ok, I could praise his all day but you want to hear some meat…. you want to hear the juice… well here it is:

The first session was about grasping the mindset.  Alex models his business around this saying: “I don’t chase money, I let money chase me”.

I was like OMG!  - a lightbulb went off in my head!

I could see that for the past 2 years I had been chasing the money online (and getting nowhere).

I was always looking for the next best program to make a quick buck, but all along the money was in building a business and a list and then developing a relationship with that list - and the best way to do this is to give away valuable free content.

Ok, so what does this mean?

Your online business is a simple system you set up online.  It is made up of these components:

1. A domain name
2. A hosting account
3. A website
4. An autoresponder

You now have a system to deliver great free content to your audience.

“Yeah, but what about traffic?”

Dont worry about that part yet.  Many people get distracted with trying to drive traffic before they have their system set up.  “There is no point sending traffic to no-mans land”.

And that is the biggest hurdle to overcome when building your online business - distraction.

Distraction leads you further from your goal of earning a living online and can come in the form of surfing pointless websites, continuously checking your email, youtube, facebook and all the other things that keep you busy but dont keep you productive.

The solution to distraction…

Planning. 

Don’t worry, this is not boring and I promise you it will be nothing like what you have done before.  Go watch these two videos and spent the time going through the process yourself, you will thank me for it. 

I did it and I was amazed at how much time I wasted in a week doing pointless tasks.  It will help you become super productive.  I’m doing more work now in 3x 1hour chunks as I was in a week previously.
