If you haven’t seen it already… here is the video..
I have always been a very sporty person and I find this clip a very moving and motivational piece.

Alex Jeffreys
As you may know by now I am lucky enough to be mentored by Alex Jeffreys. Alex is a very successful entrepreneur from several businesses he has started. He has generously offered to give his own time to a select bunch of people and mentor them on business building.
Having a mentor is like having a motivational guiding force - even if you are blindfolded they will help you find your way to success. I believe we can all be successful in everything we put our minds to, all it takes sometimes is someone to provide that first spark.
One of the most helpful things I’ve learnt from Alex is how to plan so that I can make more money and work less hours. You can watch the same two videos he gave to me here >> http://postlaunchprofits.com/workless
Alex’s mentor style or niche may not suit everyone but I want you to seek out a mentor that can help you achieve your goals in your specific area.
The problem is, everyone has an opinion; ask ten different people how to start a business and you will get ten different answers. The same goes for asking advice on how to get fit, how to find a bargain in real estate, how to make a good presentation, how to throw a good party… etc… etc.
So what seperates the good advice from the bad advice? Who should you listen to?
I’ve learnt this important lesson: Only take advice from people who have already gone through what you are trying to accomplish. With that in mind here are five qualities that you should look for in a mentor:
- Success - if your mentor isn’t successful then how do you expect them to help you become successful?
- Rags to riches story - if you’ve had a tough life you probably want to make sure your mentor can relate to you. If their family has always had money, then they probably wont understand what you went through and where you need help in life.
- Time- If they dont have the time to spare, they won’t be able to help you.
- Abundance of knowledge - the job of a mentor is to help you with the problems you face in life and not just the problems you face with your business or career.
- Good heart - there are a lot of things in this world that are unethical to do but yet legal. You want someone with good morals to help you or else you may be asked to do unethical things.
This video provides some good tips on how you can approach a possible mentor.
If you found either video or this information helpful I’d love to hear from you. You can send me your comments below.
To your success,
