Traffic Generation with Video

Mini-Traffic-Project #2 - Video

For my second traffic generation project.  I am going to use video, a short instructional video on how to set up a word press blog.

You can view this video at the bottom of this post.

 

I am also using a website called tube mogul to submit my video to multiple video directories, including you tube, Yahoo, meta cafe, Google, blip TV and others.

 

You can sign up for an account for free at www.TubeMogul.com

 

Tube mogul will automatically uploaded and submit your videos to all of these sites once you have set it up

 

The steps are:

  1.  Create your video.  I use Camtasia Studio but you can use free cam video software.
  2. Upload your video to tube mogul and enter a title, description.
  3. Launch your video on tube mogul.  This will upload and submit your video to multiple sites.

 

No need to worry about creating a video page on your website to upload to all you need to do is embed your video in your website from one of the video sites you submitted to.

 

For example, to embed my video below I copy and pasted the HTML code from YouTube in the Embed video box.

 

 

 

Ok now that traffic project is up and running its on to the next one…

    Hi Ryan,

    Hi Ryan: I just replied to your comment on my blog but I wanted to come over to your blog and copy my response to you… just in case you don’t get back to mine soon. I know I was finding myself placing comments on others blogs and forgetting which ones I said what on … so, I started a spreadsheet to keep track of everything… LOL. It has been very helpful too!!!

    This is a very interesting post you made — I have not ventured into videos yet — been too busy with other ventures! But my husband and I are working together on all this and he may be working on that end of it soon.

    Thanks for stopping by… yes, I did FINALLY get all that mess worked out… and it turned out that it was all my own fault!!! User error!!! LOL

    YES!!! You should definitely start Twittering!!!! There are an enormous amount of people/connections on there. I am not sure if it has actually generated any traffic for me but you never know. The important thing to Twittering is to get “seen” as an active user and provide some quality information — then people will trust you — then they will buy from you!!!

    It was on my TO DO list for today to start using Squidoo but it did not happen… :-( However, it is on the top of my TO DO list for tomorrow!!! I will definitely post how things are going with that. You may want to head over to “My Daily Journal” page — it is more about how I am progressing on a personal level… let me know what you think about that section.

    I think Im gonna head to bed… its 1:24am and I’ve been going on this computer since 1pm today.
